Information and Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new patients? What does waiting list mean?

When the demand for mental health is high, we may have a waiting list for new patients. This means that while we are accepting new patients, it may be a 2-3 month wait before we can get you scheduled with a provider.

What insurances do you accept?

We are in network with BlueCross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We are NOT accepting new patients with Aetna, Medicaid, EAP, or Tricare insurance at this time.

How do I know my copay?

Once an appointment is scheduled, we can verify your benefits and let you know your copay or deductible prior to the appointment. We can provide you with an estimate before scheduling your appointment, but to get an accurate amount, you can contact your insurance provider and ask for the patient's responsibility for Outpatient Professional Mental Health Services (office-based).

How do I know if I’ve met my deductible?

While some providers allow us to see your remaining deductible when we pre-verify benefits, the best way to get an accurate answer is to contact your insurance provider directly.

How long are sessions?

Intake sessions are typically 55-60 minutes long. All other sessions range from 45-55 minutes. Details of the length of sessions can be discussed with your individual provider.

Do you offer both telehealth and in-person appointments?

At this time, the majority of providers are providing therapy via telehealth. However, some providers also offer in-person appointments.

Do you have a Late Cancellation Policy?

Yes, we do have a $75 late cancellation fee for an appointment canceled under 24 hours prior to the appointment, this includes no shows.

Do parents need to be present for children's sessions?

We believe that parents are important to their children’s therapeutic success and ask that you be involved, as much as is appropriate for your child. This includes being present for part of the intake session, as well as being available for periodic check-ins with the therapist to provide feedback and progress reports. The frequency of this will depend on the child’s age and needs.

Client Paperwork

Due to the high demand for paperwork, we are not always able to accommodate the request for paperwork. After approval, paperwork may take 5 to 7 business days to complete. We will not email or mail client documents. Documents can only be faxed through a secure fax line or picked up from our main office.
