“Mental health…is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” The decisions that you make in life creates your meaning. Making the decision to receive therapy at Radiant is your best one yet.

I serve as a clinical intern with Radiant therapy pursuing my LPC. I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology, concentrating on children and adolescents at Montclair State University. I earned my certification in School Psychology and have pursued a career as a School Psychologist working in D.C. public schools. I conduct assessments, individual therapy, and crisis intervention. I have obtained 6+ years of experience working in the field of education and human services. I have worked closely with youth and families in my professional experiences and I am passionate about improving the lives of children, adolescents, adults, and families.

I have a special interest in childhood trauma and its effects on adulthood. As we encounter life, we experience stressors from relationships, work, school, finances, etc. It is my mission to provide my clients with the tools and strategies needed to approach life’s stressors. My goal is to help clients develop better problem-solving and emotional skills, reduce symptoms of mental illness, and cope with various life challenges to improve their lives. It’s important for me to provide my clients with a non-judgmental safe space to be vulnerable and their authentic selves. I have a strong belief in the effectiveness of mindfulness and believe that people can deal with their problems, especially if they become fully aware of what is happening within oneself and outside of oneself.
